To Our Valued
In the light of recent events surrounding the global spread of COVID-19, the illness caused by the novel Coronavirus, CTI wants you to know that we’ve taken significant measures to protect our customers and employees, as well as to keep our operations running at normal capacity and efficiency.
Due to our service to food and beverage suppliers, CTI is considered an essential business and is fully operational.
Regarding our facility, here’s what we’ve done to keep everyone safe:
All business travel has been cancelled until further notice.
All employees who can work from home will do so.
Visitors to our facility have been greatly restricted and international travelers are currently prohibited.
Employees must have a normal temperature, feel well and wear gloves and face masks while in the facility unless they can keep at least 6 feet from one another.
The shipping department is required to wear face masks while packaging product.
We wipe down common surfaces multiple times a day with bleach or alcohol-based cleaners.
Any employee who does not feel well is required to remain at home, though their regular pay will be unaffected.
Most importantly regarding business operations, we have not experienced any virus-related disruptions to our supply chain, and our facility is open and operating at normal capacity. Our inventory levels remain normal, and, in fact, we are producing additional inventory. We have also increased our raw material purchases to ensure enough stock on hand to fill orders.
We’ve also worked with select customers on advanced ordering in case of supply chain disruptions.
Presently, we believe these steps are sufficient, but we will modify our policies and assess risks, mitigation strategies and contingencies as needed, using ISO 9001 best practices.
Please contact us if you have any concerns or special needs that we can help you with.
Best wishes – we hope that you and your employees remain safe during this difficult period.
