What is the order minimum?

CTI’s order minimum is 4 lbs. (2 kilos)

What is CTI’s production lead time?

• We have a 15-business-day standard lead time.  

• We can deliver products in stock in 3 days. 

• Rush orders may be available for a 20% fee.

Does CTI supply thermochromic paint and dyes?

CTI does not supply paint or dyes. We provide finished color-changing ink, glow-in-the-dark ink, thermochromic plastics, and photochromic plastics.

What type of printing ink does CTI offer?

CTI offers thermochromic, photochromic, pressure-activated, glow-in-the-dark, and fluorescing inks for screen, flexo, offset, and metal deco printing. Ink is also available in Solvent and Water Based formulations.  We are currently developing ink for digital printing. Contact us for a broader explanation of each.

Does the CTI's thermochromic ink color appear when heated up?

Our standard thermochromic inks will show color in their cold state and disappear in the warm state. We do offer some color-to-color inks as well.

Can I get a free sample of CTI's ink?

Samples and drawdowns are available depending on availability at the time of the request. Please contact us to request samples.

Can CTI produce custom products?

Custom inks and colors can be developed. There will be R&D costs associated with the work. A discovery process will determine if CTI takes on the request and any associated fees.

Does CTI deliver worldwide?

We deliver worldwide directly from our facility or by our allies around the world.

Does CTI charge for shipping?

We charge for shipping according to the order's weight, size, and special conditions.

Does CTI provide technical assistance?

We provide technical assistance worldwide when printing the first run to ensure the expected results are achieved.

Can I arrange my collection?

Yes, if you clearly state this on your order with the details of the courier. CTI will then send you an email once the goods are ready for pick up and confirm your order's weights, dimensions, and characteristics.

Can I use my shipping account?

Yes, clearly state this on your order with your courier’s name and account number. CTI won't charge for this service. 

​

Do any products have to be shipped using special conditions?

Solvent inks must ship priority. Low-temperature irreversible products may ship using cool boxes and gel packs, depending on the ink characteristics.

How do you ship your products?

Our main courier is FedEx; however, we use specialist carriers for some products.
